01/12/2017 GenServ-Africa is a Dutch company specialized in generator maintenance, measurements and parts delivery with focus on the African region. Besides generator service the company also provides technical management support for power plants. With this new partnership a more diverse service scope can be provided by Grunnergy and GenServ-Africa to our marine and power customers.

1/8/2017 Grunnergy started partnership with WINDROCK Inc. for providing Windrock Analysis Services and Equipment. With these high-end analyzers, a complete new level of performance and component condition check of operational engines can be provided for reducing operational cost plus locate potential component failures.

26/06/2017 A new training is developed to help power plant and ship owners to reduce operational costs by getting deeper knowledge of diesel and gas engines performance, understand the effect of auxiliaries on performance, be able to correct high fuel consumption, restore engine output and reduce emissions. 

27/2/2017 A new energy research project is launched in cooperation with Wessels Productontwikkeling and Technology4U. Aim of the project is energy reduction in buildings by using destratification of air in combination with solar energy storage.  The project is granted with subsidy of the Europees Fonds voor Regionale Ontwikkeling (EFRO) as part of the VIA Carbon Reduction Program.

07/02/2017 A new service is introduced for power plants which are dealing with the intermittent dynamics of renewable energy sources. After studying the traditional starting and loading of generator sets, new automation for fast starting and loading is developed in cooperation with MSA-Service Noord. Together with improved operating routines, the engines can be started and loaded much faster in order to follow the changed dynamics of grids with renewable energy sources.
